    <title>Counselling Psychologist</title>
    <description>It is the psychologist’s responsibility to:

1 Provide evidence based therapy to clients in collabroatgion with the clients treating GP.

2  Complete the required preparatory work before seeing a client and maintain client file whilst client is active.

3  Maintain professional and ethical conduct with regard to all Practise matters.  Ensure client confidentiality at all times.

4  Inform the receptionist on duty urgently if there are any concerns about the safety of a client or if there is any risk to the safety of others in the Practise.


Bayside Counselling recognises that variety is important in the nature of treatment cases undertaken by each psychologist.  Bayside Counselling Services has a Networking Consultant whose responsibility, on advice from psychologists regarding their caseload, is to ensure that the Practise has positive relationships with a variety of referring agencies. If a psychologist has an area of interest or speciality, following consultation with the Networking Consultant, marketing to generate increased referrals with that target group will proceed.

It is expected that each psychologist will see 6 clients per day.


All psychologists in the Practise are required to have indemnity insurance. A copy of the insurance policy must be provided to the Business Manager upon commencement of employment.</description>
